TAU Influencer Makes Forbes List
Dr. Liad Mudrik voted one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Israel by Forbes Magazine
A Tel Aviv University’s star researcher, Dr. Liad Mudrik of the School of Psychological Sciences, has been selected as one of Israel’s 50 most influential women for 2017 by Forbes Magazine.
A highly-awarded young researcher, Mudrik combines frontline brain research with age-old philosophical questions to understand the workings of human consciousness and its many mysteries.
In a lightning academic career, Mudrik earned all her degrees at Tel Aviv University, including a rare double PhD, one in neuroscience and the other in philosophy. She went on to pursue post-doctoral studies at the California Institute of Technology.
Mudrik has also led a highly successful career in the media, as presenter of programs on popular science and the highly popular radio show, “The History Hour,” together with the late TAU Professor Michael Harsegor. She also had a brief spell as an actress explaining scientific principles to the Muppets, in the Israeli version of Sesame Street.
