Congratulations to Prof. Khitam Muhsen for Receiving a Certificate of Appreciation

The President of the University will award Prof. Muhsen with a certificate of appreciation for her achievements to mark International Women’s Day

Dr. Khitam Muhsen is Associate Professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, School of Public Health at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel.

She completed her PhD in epidemiology at Tel Aviv University, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the Center for Vaccine Development, University of Maryland School of Medicine, in the United States.

Dr. Muhsen’s main research interest is epidemiology of enteric diseases and vaccines, with emphasis on rotavirus and Helicobacter pylori infection.

Her research has been supported by competitive awards and grants (e.g., Israel-US Binational Science Foundation, Ministry of Health, Israel National Institute for Health Policy and Health Services Research, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation).

Dr. Muhsen is the author of more than 60 original articles published in international peer reviewed journals.
