Meetings with Inspiring Alumni
Tel Aviv University alumni hold central positions in every area of Israel’s economy – an enormous asset which the Organization wishes to highlight, cultivate and utilize. Accordingly, one of the Organization’s very first initiatives was launching a series of Encounters with Inspiring Alumni. In these unique meetings successful TAU graduates from greatly varied fields willingly share the story of their journey to the top with co-alumni.
Most meetings consist of two parts: first, the main speaker tells his/her inspiring story; this is followed by a special enrichment or entertainment program, with top lecturers and/or performers.

Gilad Livnat
I’m a product leader with over a decade of experience turning early-stage ideas into successful products and thriving teams. Specialising in the 0-1 phase, I help organisations move from identifying the right problem to building teams, shaping culture, and leading execution that delivers impact.
My journey spans global tech companies and fast-growing startups, including eBay and Monday.com, across sectors such as fintech, ed-tech, marketplaces, and e-commerce. I’ve led cross-functional teams through high-impact launches, integrated machine learning into products, and helped scale from first concept to market success.
In 2024, I was honoured to be named in JN Magazine’s *Under 40* list. I hold a degree in Industrial Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and I mentor at Google for Startups. I also host two podcasts: *The Tipping Point* for entrepreneurs and *Mozzarella* on product management, the latter ranked in Spotify’s top 1% of most-shared podcasts in 2022.
