The Tel Aviv University Trust, based in London, leads fundraising activities for Tel Aviv University. The Trust invites TAU Professors to share their research and knowledge with British audiences to strengthen the University’s reputation in the UK, and encourages academic collaborations with TAU and UK Universities.
The TAU Trust hosts some 25 events per year, ranging in scale from small breakfasts to large scale fundraisers. TAU Trust uses these events as a vehicle to raise awareness of Israel’s largest University as well as raising funding to support it.

Based on its success last September, TAU Trust is once again collaborated with UK Israel Business for UKIB’s second Innovate Israel conference, taking place on Tuesday 3 July 2018. The conference highlighted the most exciting innovations coming from scale-up nation across AI, Big Data, Cyber Security, Digital Health, Machine Learning and Satellite technology.
Prof Irad ben Gal, a distinguished professor from TAU, spoke on AI - Digital Living 2030: Using AI to Face New Challenges & Opportunities. His talk will showcase how living in a digital and physical space by the year 2030 will help improve our quality of life.
The audience included over 200 professionals from the technology and the business sector and some of Israel's most disruptive scale-up companies. Out of the 15 speakers there were 5 TAU Alumni.
TAU Trust hosted its 11th annual Night at the movies showcasing student films from TAU’s Steve Tisch School of Film and Television on Wednesday 6th June at the Ham Yard Hotel in London, where the event was supported by 170 guests and raised over £16,000.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the pioneering and high quality work at the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at TAU, which has a wonderful reputation worldwide for producing original and innovative films and students who often become leaders in the global film and television industry.

Israel is turning 70 and Tel Aviv University welcomed governors, award recipients and guests to celebrate in a remarkable way during the 2018 Board of Governors meeting, May 2 – May 6, 2018.
This year’s meeting looked back with pride and looked forward with vision and determination.
All Access Global Visionaries Mission:
Several dozen young professional leaders from around the world took part in TAU’s Young Visionaries All-Access Mission (April 30 – May 2, 2018) ahead of the 2018 Board of Governors Meeting.
The mission offered participants a whirlwind overview of TAU-related research both on and off campus.
In addition to visits to labs and TAU’s Steinhardt Museum of Natural History, the group visited CyberGym and other sites for exclusive meetings with TAU researchers and alumni.
